Description:

McDonald's used Opt2u to first and foremost establish an "e-database" of customers that walk- in and choose to opt-in to their email program for discounts and promotions. McDonald's then established ongoing communication and tracking with customers by sending targeted email coupons redeemable at store-specific locations (based upon where they registered or lived). This allowed McDonald's to not only increase return visitor rates, but more importantly increase per customer loyalty and allow each restaurant to benefit from regional customer data.
